Pure Rambouillet wool — grown in Wyoming at Forbes Ranch and woolen-spun into a bouncy worsted weight yarn — gives the Forbes pullover plenty of cozy luxury. This sweater is simply constructed, with minimal shaping and seamed only in the underarms. , Brooklyn Tweed’s second ranch-specific yarn, lends depth and sumptuous softness to the textured yoke of this classic pullover. 

While written for Ranch 02, a limited-edition yarn, or  can be used as a substitute for the pattern at the same gauge.

The Forbes pullover is worked circularly from the bottom up. The body and sleeves are worked separately and joined at the yoke. The knit/purl textured motif at the top is worked in the round from a chart, and a few well-placed short rows shape the neck and back shoulders.
